·         Secretaries will receive the new family in their usual cheerful manner.

·         The family will be informed that the Resource teacher for their child’s grade will contact them promptly

·         Secretaries to make Resource teacher aware of new family.

·         Resource teacher to contact new family and make an appointment time to meet with the family and gather pertinent information.

·         If student is EAL, Resource teacher alerts EAL teacher. 

·         If student is aboriginal, Resource teacher alerts AAA teacher.

·         Resource/admin to place child.  Information shared with teachers.

·         Child starts within 2-3 days.
